Mr. Murphy graduated cum laude from Towson University, and with honor from the University of Maryland Law School. His academic excellence at Maryland earned him membership in the Order of the Coif, the prestigious national law honor society.
Mr. Murphy spent his first two years of practice learning the profession in a highly-charged litigation boutique setting. He spent the next eighteen years honing and expanding upon the core of his litigation techniques in a large Baltimore firm — applying his skills to cases as diverse and complex as telecommunications tariff disputes, employment cases, copyright and trademark actions, stockholder battles, and commercial contract suits.
